The MQ-500 quantum meter is the tool of choice for scientists all over the world to accurately measure photosynthetically active radiation from all light sources. It has a hand-held meter, attached via cable, that displays and stores measurements. The sensor incorporates a blue-enhanced silicon photodiode and custom optical filters with a rugged, self-cleaning sensor housing design, anodized aluminum body with acrylic diffuser. Typical applications include PPFD measurement over plant canopies

This accessory incorporates a mounting fixture at the end of a telescopic wand extendable to 33 inches (84 cm) allowing the user to place Apogee sensors in hard to reach areas. The platform features two mounting holes to accommodate both our narrow and wider diameter radiation sensors. This wand is not suited for wet environments. For freshwater and saltwater use, we recommend our other wand, the AM-320.
This promotional package includes both an S2-141-SS PAR-FAR sensor with a 30 cm cable and microCache Bluetooth micro-logger at a special introductory price. When paired, these two devices are a powerful tool for monitoring photosynthetically active radiation with research-grade accuracy for optimal plant growth. The S2-141-SS PAR-FAR sensor is a unique two-channel sensor for measuring both the PAR (PPFD) and Far-red outputs of electric grow lights. The new AT-100 microCache (µCac
The patented MC-100 directly measures and displays chlorophyll concentration from intact leaf samples without damaging the plant material. The meter is calibrated to measure chlorophyll concentration with units of µmol of chlorophyll per m2. For reference and comparison purposes the meter also outputs relative units (CCI or SPAD). Typical application include chlorophyll concentration determination in leaves for assessment of nutrient status, fertilizer requirements, evaluation of stress
Proper sensor installation requires that the sensor be as level as possible for most applications. This leveling plate is designed for use on flat surfaces and to mount to surfaces, such as wood, with all solar radiation sensors made by Apogee Instruments, except our field spectroradiometers. The plate includes an integrated bubble level designed to work between -29 and 55 C. Please note this leveling plate is not compatible with the AL-120 mounting system.
This handy, soft PVC sensor stabilizing platform has a counter-sunk hole allowing attachment of Apogee light sensor heads for sitting on tables and other surfaces. This platform will keep the sensor upright, but does not ensure the sensor is level. For long-term, mounted applications that require perfect leveling, we recommend using our model AL-120 mounting bracket with leveling plate.Comes included with purchase of µCache (AT-100)
Protective carrying case designed to transport and store Apogee meters, sensors, and accessories. Please note, this case does not fit the AM-320 underwater wand. It will fit a AM-310 telescopic wand, but that wand is not recommended for underwater use.
The AC-100 cable is required to download data recorded in Apogee handheld meters to a computer. The cable houses electronics to convert the signal from the meter into a USB signal that a computer recognizes. The ApogeeAMS software (Windows compatible, XP and later; Mac compatible, 10.10 and later) used to interface Apogee meters with a computer is included on a flash drive.
