The LightEnerG™ Premium Switchable Quad Tap Ballast is a UL approved magnetic ballast that’s capable of switching between Metal Halide (MH) and High Pressure Sodium (HPS) bulbs, and can be switched between four primary input voltages: 120v, 208v, 240v or 277v. Changing between MH and HPS bulbs can be done by simply powering down the ballast and flipping the specialized switch. Use either the 120v power cord provided with the ballast or a 240v power cord (available separately) and plug into the end plate. If you choose to operate the ballast at 208v or 277v, used primarily in commercial environments, the casing must be opened and the wiring changed by a Certified Electrician. The aluminum housing is specially designed to dissipate heat and keep components cool, and a top of the line Aerovox capacitor is also included. The lamp cord receptacle accepts all LightEnerG™ lamp cords and reflectors. A 1-year hassle free warranty is included.
